Power Across Texas is actively engaged in supporting projects that expand knowledge and understanding of the energy industry and the critical energy issues that affect us all in Texas and the nation.

WhyPower
Power Across Texas is partnering with Whyville, the Texas Governor’s Office, and the Texas Workforce Commission to develop and launch WhyPower to challenge 8th graders to develop a new green energy community from the virtual ground up, with emphasis on designing their virtual homes to be energy efficient. The Texas Energy Primer Challenge
Power Across Texas is sponsoring the Texas Energy Primer Challenge in partnership with predominant universities in Texas featuring interdisciplinary teams of students working to develop primers in key areas of energy policy: Technology; Economic Viability, and Barriers to Entry and Growth. This tool was designed in partnership between The University of Texas at Austin and Power Across Texas to help people explore the tradeoffs in electricity generation fuel sources.
